To become a member you need to:
Fill out the application form and sign it and then carry out the tasks for the level you want to pass.
What are the ICT Crew Rewards?
1. Have access to games
2. Can learn to be an expert ICT user and gain new skills
3. Have a chance to be a leader in the school
4. Be the “go to” person in your class
5. Get a certificate awarded for each level you attain
6. Get priority to be in other ICT groups (Web Design group etc)
7. Use software that others can’t
8. Have a heap of fun!
Gold Level – Your chance to be the best and possibly be picked for Head or Deputy Heads of ICT. This is a very rare award!
· Prepare a poster or help sheet for ICT (see Mr Sloan)
· Be an “Ultra Expert” in two programs/ICT gear
· Be an “Expert” in two programs/ICT gear
· Demonstrate responsibility at the silver level, (Leaving gear tidy, taking responsibility for the ICT room, following rules etc) for at least two months
· Able to teach teachers as well as pupils
· Can carry out basic trouble shooting – Log in, finding files, re-starting etc
· To continue training other pupils
Silver Level
First
· Fill out the online application to join the ICT Crew. See Mr Sloan before printing.
Now Choose 5 Programs with your ICT Crew trainer (Mr Sloan will buddy you up)
· Demonstrate competence in 5 commonly used programs/ICT gear (i.e. digital camera)
· Be an “expert” in two programs/ICT equipment
· Prepare a help sheet for ICT (see Mr Sloan) or show service to the school in some way
· Understand all aspects of the intranet (clipart, shared documents) and network (log in etc)
· Train one other pupil on a program/ICT gear
· Be an ongoing part of the crew in helping teachers and other pupils
Bronze
· Able to log in and save
· Able to use 3 programs well
· Show responsibility
· Able to teach others patiently
